Is Ismail Omar Guelleh Fair?
Ismail Omar Guelleh, the president of Djibouti, is not fair according to the people of his country. Ismail Omar Guelleh was born November 27, 1947, in Ethiopia. He is married and has four children. Guelleh's uncle, Hassan Gouled Aptidon, ruled for 22 years, and was stepping down as president, wanting Guelleh to take his place. He was anointed in 1999, shortly after Djibouti gained independence. Guelleh was recognized to being a ruler, and has been analyzed for some human right groups. Omar Guelleh is not a fair leader for the people of Djibouti.
The people of Djibouti are not pleased with many of his actions. For example, in 2010, he altered the constitution, which has caused many people to come onto the streets of Djibouti and protest. Though, this "protest" was shortly ended. Many people from the union for Democratic change gave speeches about how they wanted President Omar Guelleh to discontinue his role as president. Guelleh has been blamed for random confinement and anguish of conflicted members. Djibouti is typically thought to host a lot of human rights cruelty, as well as deprived jail circumstances, disagreement of free public trace, intrusion with privacy rights, limitations of liberty of the
press, assembly and association, lack of defense for migrants dishonesty, inequity against woman and people with disabilities, and more. This is all because of Ismail Omar Guelleh.
Another disturbing action was that Ismail Omar Guelleh didn't pay attention to parts of Djibouti. There were many people with no jobs, and frustration with the economic situation. The largest district, Balbala, has been receiving awful treatment. The people of Balbala have been tormented from a shortage of water, no lights, joblessness, and lack of transportation.
Ismail Omar Guelleh could be fair because other people who meet him do not recognize that he is torturing some of Djibouti and not paying attention to them. Although, other cities in Djibouti do receive fair treatment. Ismail Omar Guelleh doesn't pay attention to the larger parts of Djibouti because he thinks they don't need as much help, but one of the largest places, Balbala is suffering. Therefore, for these reasons, president Ismail Omar Guelleh is unfair.

Develop or Developing?
The country of Djibouti is a very poor country. It is located in Africa next to Eritrea, Somalia, and Ethiopia. With 50% of the population unemployed and 70% poor, Djibouti is developing. Djibouti’s education and economy rate indicate that Djibouti is a developing country.
Djibouti’s schooling is one of the countries major problems and the government has been trying hard to make schooling better. This is because students have to pay for their own supplies and prices are increasing. The prices increasing that are a problem because they need money to supply food and shelter for their family. Almost 45% of students go to primary school but the number drops to about 25% when students enter secondary school.
The economy rate in Djibouti is part of the reason this country is developing. For their freedom was announced the 127th out of 196 freest country in the world. Djibouti was also named 46th lowest GDP in Africa. With 59%of the population unemployed Djibouti has to rely a lot on other countries. Djibouti barely produces their own vegetables and they get fruit imported from Ethiopia. The country of Djibouti is too poor to get crops so they depend a lot on Ethiopia.
Although Djibouti is the 21st highest GDP per capita at 1,446 dollars. I am sticking with my first statement that the country of Djibouti is developing.
